My primary work is in the functional verification of hardware designs for the semiconductor industry, but this site isn’t about my day job. In my spare time I compose music, illustrate, experiment with typography, and take pictures. This is a place for me to share some of that work.

My only formal education is in Mathematics, but my father was very adept at teaching me to teach myself. Thanks to him, I had a computer and the ability to program it at age 9 — it seemed like a big deal in the early 80s. But I also credit him with forming my interest in music.

I live and work in Austin, Texas with my wife, Emily, and two dogs, Data and Geordi.

My biggest brush with fame thus far is an appearance in a bowling commercial with Chuck E. Cheese in the early 80s.
