Here are some video captures from a bowling commercial that aired on Austin local channel KXAN during the summer of 1982. Chuck E. Cheese leads us off, followed by my "power strike". Note the powerful follow-through. Finally my friends try their best not to look directly at the camera. The biggest treat for me was that some of the kids in my sixth-grade class recognized me when I returned to school in the fall—an eleven-year-old's equivalent of stardom.
