Portrait Photography

I consider myself a casual photographer. The thought of posing someone for a perfect portrait just doesn’t sound casual or fun. Despite wanting nothing to do with formal photography, I’ve taken quite a few “formal portraits” and I guess I’ve learned a thing or two (but not three) about taming posture, noses, hands, arms, and legs.
My favorite portraits are always the ones that I didn’t “make”, but just happened. I’m a strong believer in the saying “there is no such thing as a perfect photograph, only a perfect moment”. Collected here are a few of my better moments.
